It's a wise and convenient alternative to buying rolls of window tint film and having to measure and cut it yourself. Reducing waste and the risk of making mistakes, it's ideal for use on both professional and DIY projects, delivering a seamless, professional-looking finish and optimal outcomes.

Is window tint film applied inside or outside?

Window tint is always applied to the inside of a window. While it will adhere to the outside, it won't last nearly as long nor look as good. Moreover, the UV stabilisers in window tint film are incorporated into the adhesive used to mount the film onto the window, and to work properly, this needs to be facing towards the sun.

Does installing window tinting film for a home reduce heat?

Yes! Tinted windows on your house or other property reduce both the amount of light and heat that will enter via windows. This lowers the average indoor temperature, requiring less energy to cool the house in summer. Heat loss in winter will also be reduced.

Tinting your car windows offers several benefits. Tinting maximises comfort within the vehicle, keeping it cooler in the sun, and reduces glare, which is important for safety on the road. It also reduces visibility into the car, enhancing privacy and adding to the security of the vehicle.

What types of car window tint are available?

There are several different window tint film types available from various manufacturer brands, each offering specific benefits. Considerations when selecting your preferred product include VLT (visual light transmission), which is the percentage of light that can pass through the film; UV, which is the amount of ultraviolet radiation the film will block; and TSER (total solar energy rejection), which describes how much transmissible heat is prevented from passing through the tint.
